Requirements to register for the 2017 USGF World Series Tournament:
A, B and C class teams must have played in two qualifier tournaments or one NIT tournament. Recrational (REC) teams do not qualify through qualifying tournaments but through documentation records from their local league. In order to qualify to participate in the recreational class of the USGF 2017 World Series Tournament, a team must submit a completed roster with the signature of the President/Commissioner of the league and a signed accompaying letter that list the names of the players on the roster and states that every player on the list and roster participated in their local league. If there is a player that plays on a tournament team but also participated in their local league, this does not disqualify the player to play on her all star league team. The qualification is that every player on the roster and signed letter of statement - signed up for and participated in their local league. The only way a player can participate on a team from an adjacent city is if the two leagues inter-leagued together.
Bracket will be seeded from pool game results.
A Class defined as those teams with a winning percentage of .700 or greater
B Class defined as those teams with a winning percentage of .400 to .699
C Class defined as those teams with a winning percentage of .399 or less.
Tournament shirts $16, shirt colors gray and navy blue. Email your
team order in and it will be set aside for you.

Fees: 6U-8U - $300, 10U-18U $375 All tournament fees must be remited before being drawn in brackets.
World Series Open Ceremonies: July 13 will be held at St. Bethlehem Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane, Clarksville, TN.

9:00-12:00 Team Check-In (Notebook must contain: signed and completed roster, copies of birth certificates, small picture must be attached to birthcertificate).
12:00-3:00 Skills Games (Participates must sign registration sheet at team check-in, awards will be given out after parade of teams.
12:00-4:00 Early T-shirt sales
6:30-7:30 Parade of Teams and Pin Exchange
WS Pool and Bracket Games Itinerary
July 14-16 (Fri-Sun)
Pool and bracket games will begin at 8:00am Friday and Saturday and Sunday.
Team Photographs: will be schedule one hour before your first pool game.
Open Ceremony Activity Details
Lunch Boxes: Teams can order lunch boxes, hot dog, chips, drink and cookies for $5 each. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Carnival: There will not be a gate fee for July 13 (Thur). There will be no charge to the carnival rides. It is open to everyone and all members of the families. There are 10 competitive horseshoe lanes to the left of the carnival that the families are welcome to enjoy.
Banners/Signs: Teams can bring banners, signs and ballons to carry at parade of teams.
Trading Pins: Teams will be able to exchange trade pins at the completition of the parade of teams.
Gift bags: will be exchanged at your first pool game. Bags should contain items indigenous to your area. Many local business are willing to donate unique items for the bags. Please remember that it is not mandatory to bring gift bags. Keep in mind the bags are a gift from you, reflecting your home town, no matter if you receive a gift bag in return. Have fun with it.
Skills Games will include:
Home Run Derby
Each team can enter no more than 5 players, each team must supply their own balls, pitcher and catcher, each player may hit 5 balls, the batted ball will be measured from home plate to the first bounce. Each age group will have a winner, not each class. Will recieve a trophy.
Mother Daughter Relay
Each team can enter to moms and two players from their team to participate.(Must be a mom from the team but does not have to be a mom to the players participating). Moms are placed at home and 2nd base, players are placed at 1st and 3rd base. The ball must be relayed from home to first, to second, to third, to home. Team with best time wins. If participant drops the ball they have to retrive the ball (not the participant waiting for the relay) and complete the relay. Each age group will have a winner, not each class. Will recieve a individual trophies for each participate of winning team.
Around the Horn
Each team can use 5 or 6 players, P, C, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and SS(may or may not use 6th player SS). Ball must travel: P to C, C to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 1st, 1st to SS (or 2nd if only using 5 players), SS to C. Each team can complete two rounds, record the best time. Each age group will have a winner, not each class. Will recieve a trophy. Will recieve a individual trophies for each participate of winning team.

Booklet: All teams must ckeck-in a booklet that contains: Birth certificate with photo attached, updated full signture completed roster, copy of insurance. Each team is responsible to collect their team booklet from tournament director. All booklets will be distroyed 90 days after completion of tournament.

Eligible: Make sure your players are age eligible for your age group. Age eligible date is January 1, 2017
Rules and Standards
Batters: each team can bat up to 12 batters for pool and tournament games.
Unique rule to USGF: is the courtesy runner: A courtesy runner can be used at anytime once per inning. A courtesy runner does not burn your sub. However, if your courtesy runner is on base and has to come up to bat she must take an out at bat. So, be aware of where your courtesy runner is in the line up.
The Official Game Time: begins at the flip and the plate umpire is keeper of the time.
Pool Play Guidelines: Time linit will be 55minutes, finish the inning. No drop dead. Game can end in a tie. In the case of a tie, both teams are awarded one half (.5) a win in the seeding stats. Home team is considered the official score book for each game. Parents/fans are welcome to keep score boards.
Tournament Play Guidelines: Time limit will be 70 minutes, finish the inning. No drop dead. International tie breaker rules apply for all elimination games. Home team is considered the official score book for each game. Parents/fans are welcome to keep score boards.
RULE 15. 6U AND 8U RULES
A. The game will consist of 5 innings or 55 minutes on the clock, finish the inning for pool play and tournament bracket play, with a (Run Rule) being declared if a team is ahead by 12 runs after 3 innings two and a half innings if the home team is ahead, or 10 runs after 4 innings three and a half innings if the home team is ahead...
...F. Each position in the batting order will be at bat a maximum of once per inning, the end of an inning will be declared when either 3 outs are made or all batters have batted one time which ever comes first. (No more than twelve (12) batters per inning with no one batting twice.) It is not an advantage to have more than 10 batters.
DP/Flex Rule: The DP/Flex rule is awailable for coaches that want to take advantage of it. The rule can be visited at Sec.4.ART1. DP/Flex in the online rules.
Metal Cleats: Meatal cleats are approved for the use of 14U-18U.
Rain Policy: If no games are played entry fee is returned. If one game is played one half of entry fee is returned. If two games are complete there is no refunds issued. No refunds for gate passes.
